Elif Allenfort

Turkish born pianist, Elif Allenfort obtained her bachelors degree at Haceteppe University Ankara State Conservatory. She continued her education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels as well as the prestigious Queen Elisabeth Musical College in Belgium. Ms. Allenfort moved to the United States in 1996 and obtained her Masters degree and Artist Diploma under the tutelage of Dr. Ludmila Lazar at Roosevelt University Chicago Music College. An active chamber and solo performer, Ms. Allenfort has developed her performance career through a regular schedule of recitals, orchestral appearance and collaborative efforts with notable Chicago musicians. She has served as the Piano Dept. Head at the Metropolis School of Performing
Arts, and was on the faculty of Sherwood Community Music School at Columbia College Chicago. Since 2013 she has been managing her own successful piano studio in Prospect Heights and continues to perform.
